Making your selections

Constructors

  • Select 4 constructors for your team
  • Constructors ranked 1-10
  • Combined ranking value of your 4 selected constructors must always total a minimum of 23
  • Both cars of your 4 selected constructors will score constructor points for you in the game

Drivers

  • Your team includes the 2 official drivers from each of your 4 selected constructors
  • Only 4 drivers will score for you at each GP
  • Select 1 driver from each of your 4 constructors to score points for you at each GP

During the game, you can change your driver and constructor choices - read more about making changes below

Grand Prix Play

For the chance to score additional points, predict the driver with the fastest lap time in practice, the Grand Prix and who will hold pole position (note that your fastest in practice and pole position selections can’t be the same driver).  You’ll also be asked to predict which drivers will take 1st, 2nd and 3rd position on the podium and which constructor will have the best performance in the Grand Prix. Finally, predict which constructor will fare worst in the Grand Prix!

Scoring points

For full details of all the points scoring, click on Scoring points

Constructors

Both of the cars for each of your chosen 4 constructors will score for you based on their performance in each Grand Prix. Beware! If any of your constructors cars are not running at the finishing flag, you'll lose points

Drivers

The 4 drivers you have chosen (1 from each constructor) will score points for you in each Grand Prix based on their performance

Grid improvement points

Drivers score +3pts per position gained for finishing further up the order than their starting position on the grid. E.g. a driver who starts in 18th position on the grid but finishes in 16th position scores +6 points for the two positions they have climbed. Official classifications will be used

Grand Prix Play

For accurately predicting the outcome of Grand Prix Play categories, you’ll score additional points in the game

Changing your team

Don’t worry if your selections aren’t scoring as well as you’d hoped, you’ll be given a chance to change constructors and drivers too.

Once the Spanish Grand Prix has finished you may re-select your constructors choices twice during the remainder of the season. You can change between drivers as often as you wish using either of the drivers of your selected constructors for each Grand Prix

Grand Prix Play predictions can be changed at any time and as often as entrants wish during the season, subject to the following rules:

  • Fastest practice lap predictions must be made before the official start time of the first official practice of that F1 Grand Prix
  • Pole position predictions must be made before the official start time for qualifying
  • Podium position and best and worst constructor predictions must be made before the official start time for each F1 Grand Prix
  • Your selections for 'pole position' and 'fastest lap' cannot be the same driver
